PRO's and CON's

Yeah that is right we are back. It has been a while since our last post. We have been in the land of moving. Now I have gone against my beliefs on where we live now. I thought living in a house was always a better choice. No one above you, below you, or on the sides. Instead we live in an apartment. Judging from my last rental, this is by far the best move. Now lets us measure the PRO's and CON's of both. PRO's of renting a house: well depending on where you live, you can pretty much do what you want. CON's : Over priced, depending on your work ethic, you have to get up on a well earned day off and cut the grass, work around the house, oh no the gutter came loose again and this time Mr. Fluffy the neighbors' cat was squished. Just saying. Now the PRO's and CON's of an apartment. CON's: Everyone in your building knows your diet. You have to be quiet when it isn't necessary to be. PRO's : A light bulb burns out you call maintenance. Garbage disposal's plugged, because your 2 year old was convinced there is an animal eating all the leftovers, you call maintenance. That hard earned day off pays off, because it's not your grass you have to cut. You get the point.
But in all I am just happy we have a place of our own to call home. Until next time peace, love, and god bless our troops over seas.

Funny Isn't It?

Wooo Hoooo, the time of year when the government is actually nice to you. Whether you owe money, well especially if you owe money or if your getting money back. Well I guess I can't say they are happy to give you money, but I am happy they are giving me money. It is funny isn't it? I mean, if the government owes you money they take there precious time and getting it to you. But if you owe them money, you should have for seen the future and already had a pre posted envelope with a check in the amount of more than you owe already on its way. Got to love the Government. Not really, but still. One thing I noticed doing my taxes this year that towards the end of my filing, they asked me about health care and if everyone in my family had it. New law, we have health care already but still. I don't like Obama Care and I do not wish my family to have it. I don't want the government to computer chip my kids and I don't want to be expendable when I'm older. Who are they to decide if I'm worthy of living and receiving health care. So if that's the case maybe are great leader might want to consider this reform. I know I'm younger than him and by his law I have more to offer to the USA, because I'm younger. So when it came down to it and I needed a heart transplant and so did Obama, then I would receive it first and health care would just tell him good luck and make arrangements with your loved ones. Funny isn't it? How that came back to bite him in the butt. Oh well Until next love, peace, and god bless our troops over seas.

Super Bowl Sunday

I'm so excited as my Broncos get ready to take on the Seahawks. I'm excited, because I get to share this moment with my oldest son Mason. I can remember watching Denver play when I was younger with , my Dad. To be a true fan and father is something special you hand down to the next generation of fans. I have been waiting 15 years for Denver to reach the Super Bowl. My son is such a little man and such a great fan already. He will set the standard for his siblings in years to come. So lets get ready for some football. Put your jersey on, warm the foam finger up, grill some burgers, chill some drinks, and set back in awe as one of the most watched sporting advents on Television happens. Also can't wait to see the Commercials this year that is always the best. Until next peace, love, and god bless our troops over seas.

GO BRONCOS!!!!!

Same Old Same Old

Do you have those days where it seems your never going any where? Wake up in the morning to your 2 year old trying to see how many holes on your face he plug with his fingers or maybe the 2 rival siblings arguing over the stupidest things. While in the mean time the youngest just hangs back and watches it all happen. I envy my youngest with his hearing aides. He can  just shut it out. Maybe I need to borrow his camouflage covered hearing aides and just turn them off. Only if. Oh well, back to reality. So it seems it is always the same old same old. Get up go to work, listen to people at work cry about how bad they have it. Your thinking the whole time, I can't wait to get off. I love my job and what I do, but, man some of the individuals I work with complain about non important stuff. So I try very hard not to understand. I love going home after work. Always a warm welcome and big smiles from my kids and wife. I guess it is what it is. Live it as it comes.
Until next time peace, love, and god bless the troops over seas.

To Be Harry Potter

Some days don't you wish you could be Harry Potter? I do. Like some little orphan boy who's parents' got themselves blown up by a bad mamma jama, only to realize in 17 years you yourself has to make the sacrifice of giving his own life to the cause. But along the way you find out that you don't have to take crap from anyone. If they do give you crap then you can just give them a pigtail or even blow them up like a balloon and let them float away. If only, or if you decide I don't want to be around anymore, I'm going to hop on my fire bolt, try to catch that gold little ball that wins the game and all will be good. And in the process of all my accomplishment, I will get the chance to fight off my nemesis. But if all fails I can hop a board that cool animal that's half eagle, half horse and go hang out at Malfoy Manner. To be Harry Potter, hmmmm. Probably not, now that I think about it. I can't remember spells and I probably would turn my mom into a mouse or something. I got to admit the mail system is pretty cool, but I can't ever remember cleaning poop up after the mail man delivered my mail. Go figure. Until next time, peace, love, and god bless our troops over seas.

Another Snow Day

Is it me or does seem that every time that it snows, peoples brain cells deplete. It started snowing about 8 pm and by the time I got off work at 1 am, there was about 4 inches of new snow. No snow plows have been out yet. I don't get it. Usually there is no one in sight when I drive home, but tonight it was different. It seems that everyone had something to do at 1 am. So carefully going home as usual, the snow was getting deeper and deeper. Ice was forming instantly. I was going down the interstate and I got passed by a little compact car, like I was sitting still. About 15 minutes later I seen the same compact car, but only more compact. It had skidded out of control, hit a plow, and pushed into a cement barrier. Luckily no was hurt. To come to my conclusion. When driving in the snow, it's okay to have your heater on full blast, but crack a window lets some oxygen in and let it go to your brain. Unless your Santa Claus and you have a team of 8 reindeer. Use your brain. Be careful out there. Until next time, peace, love, and god bless our troops over seas.

Super Bowl Bound

All I can say is, The Denver Broncos' are Super Bowl Bound. It is very exciting for me to be able to share these moments with my son Mason. Being a Broncos fan all my life setting on the edge as The Broncos have been to the Big Show more than a few times in my life span. Come Super Bowl Sunday, at the end of the night. The Orange and Blue will be waving there victorious flag. But today, today was a memorial day with my family as I got to share a legacy with my entire family. So we will gear up with those cool hard hats you can put two drinks in, pull out the grill, and pack the cooler. Invite some friends over and enjoy one of the most watched Sport events in the world. The great thing about this, is it is my team. But until next blog keep it real bloggers. Peace, Love, and god bless our troops over seas.
