Let me start by saying this. Is it me or is it people that have no common sense always get the breaks? I consider myself a hard working Individual, a good father, and a loving husband. I started my job in November of last year. I have over 18yrs experience and most important, I take a lot of pride in what I do for a living. It is a self invested trade. Anyway they have a couple of higher positions available. So curious, I thought you know what I deserve one of these positions. So I consulted with my boss.
He told me what needs to be done to accomplish my goals. As the weeks went on we have a certain individual I work with who messes up jobs left and right. No pride in his work ethic. It seemed each week a job was getting messed up and then either myself or another coworker would have to correct and complete his job.
To make it clear what I do for a living, I am a heavy equipment mechanic. So you can see the frustration. But after many jobs being messed up by this individual, you would think they would let him go, terminate his job exct. Instead they offer him a foreman's position. WOW!!!
So next time I rebuild a transmission, I think I will forget to put oil in it and let it burn up. Maybe they will make me shop manager. Maybe I will accidently run a Semi through the shop door. LOL.
